In October 2015, CMI and SAGA LNG Shipping signed a construction contract for the 45,000m³ LNG carrier. On September 11, 2016, an opening ceremony was held in Jiangsu Heavy Industry.

This 45,000m³ LNG carrier is the world’s first LNG carrier equipped with LNT A-Box cargo hold maintenance system, and also one of the great achievements of CMI’s product innovation, transformation and upgrading. The cargo fence system of this project adopts the international patent applied by “LNG NEW TECHNOLOGLES AS” company. During the construction of the project, a number of patented inventions were completed, making Haimen Base become a construction shipyard capable of building LNG ships from no performance of LNG construction. At the same time, it is more competitive in product diversity and has the ability to build high-end ships. This project was delivered in middle of 2019 and currently has been put into use.
