According to the requirements of the Work Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China, in order to prevent the occurrence of various safety accidents of shipowners temporarily visiting the factory and operators of temporary outsourcing construction units (hereinafter referred to as Personnel) during visit on the production site or temporary construction in China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., it is hereby notified as follows: 

1. During the period in the factory, the Personnel shall abide by the national, local and our company’s safety laws, regulations and safety management regulations, and conscientiously implement them.

   
   

2. The personnel when in the factory shall pay attention to the hints of safety warning signs, observe the administrative regulations on road speed limit (30km/h) of the factory, and shall not enter dangerous operation areas without authorization.

   
   

3. When entering the production site, the Personnel shall wear labor protection appliances (safety helmet, work clothes, labor protection shoes, masks, protective glasses, earplugs, etc.). Personnel who need to climb (above 2 meters from the falling height datum) must wear safety belts, and shall not wear skirts or other clothing that may cause danger or affect the movement, nor wear high heels, sandals and shorts to protect legs and feet from being injured.

   
   

4. The competent unit (project team) must have the qualification certificates of the technical personnel, management personnel and special operation personnel who meet the project requirements of the outsourcing units.

   
   

5. Before starting work, the competent unit (project team) shall conduct comprehensive safety and technical communication with the responsible person and construction technicians of the outsourcing unit, and have complete records.

   
   

6. The work permit must be completed for all slipway operations. The employment department is responsible for the Personnel’s operation in the factory, and the Personnel shall not operate on the ship without authorization.

   
   

7. The lifting and hoisting operations are carried out frequently in the factory. In production areas, lifting and hoisting operations shall be avoided as far as possible. For heavy lifting and segmented turnover, warning tape will be set up, and it is not allowed to enter the scope set by the warning tapes;

   
   

8. Equipment in the factory shall not be used at will.

   
   

9. Obey the site safety management, and do not operate at risk.

Any property loss or personal injury accident caused by violation of the company’s safety management regulations shall be borne by the Personnel themselves and the outsourcing units.
