This ore carrier is tailor-made for Vale of Brazil. Compared with the previous generation, it has the fuel consumption reduced by 18.8%, and is more energy-saving and environmentally friendly. It meets the requirements of the latest ship Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) and TIE II, and is equipped with LNG READY Scheme that can satisfy the full voyage (the scheme of conversion to LNG powered ship is reserved in the early stage of ship design and planning). This carrier has undergone a comprehensive upgrade design in terms of structure and strength, and is provided with the latest technical solutions such as LNG Ready, cargo liquefaction, and round-trip speed optimization for the first time. Therefore, it is more outstanding in terms of going green, environmental protection, energy saving and safety performance.
